Stress Analysis on human foot in several walking stances


Stress analysis performed using ansys static structure A human foot is modeled with 2 materials one for the bone with higher density and stiffness and the other represents muscle flesh and low density tissues with less stiffness. In this project the foot interacts with the ground and the stress distribution due to walking is calculated. The purpose of such analysis is the design of a medical insole with a comfortable stress distribution. Different trials are made for the sole to select the sole material and the thickness distribution. The project was made by a student of the academy where he was guided step by step after completing the course, the poerfect shoe lining was designed and then was manufactured by makerov 3d printing egyptm using flexible materials.
